The Canyon Theater is part of the Boulder Public Library District. The eighteen-month theater pilot launched in July 2024 to gauge interest in community organized events, supported by library staff, at no cost to organizers or attendees. The Boulder Library Foundation Board of Directors on Wednesday approved 11 grants totaling $393,600 to support literacy, outreach, oral history, archival acquisitions, children’s musical performances and makers in residence at Boulder Public Library.
